Clean makeup brushes are essential for the perfect beauty beat. You can’t possibly have precise gel eyeliner applications or dramatic cut crease styles if you’re accidentally applying yesterday’s color selections while doing today’s makeup look. If this has ever happened to you (and come on…we’ve all been there), then you’re going to want to read today’s #ToolsoftheTrade recommendation – Ecotools’ Makeup Brush Cleansing Cloths.
Now, these disposable towelettes are intended as a way to remove the daily buildup of makeup, dirt and oils that can normally accumulate on your brushes. These paraben free cloths are made from natural plant-based ingredients and promise not to deposit an oily residue. The process is fairly straight forward, after applying makeup (or whenever you have a spare moment in the day) take a wipe and gently remove any visible makeup from your brushes.
Although intended for a daily cleansing routine, I have to be honest…I don’t clean my brushes on a daily basis because of my crazy schedule. It’s more of a weekly/bi-weekly basis. However, these cleansing cloths are great for quick cleanups between makeup applications. For example, when I do wear eye shadow, I tend to use a black crease and I have a very specific brush I use for this. But from time to time, I want to use a different color for my crease. This is when these cleansing cloths come in handy! They really do remove all traces of old makeup and leave your brush clean and ready for a new application. Meanwhile, since it’s a damp cloth and you’re not fully submerging your brushes in water, the brushes dry quickly after using the cloths (about 1 to 3 minutes).
